Rose Catherine Khan is a fantasy illustrator and designer based in Orlando, Florida. With a career spanning over two decades, she has brought her vivid imagination to life through licensed illustration, graphic design, fabric, apparel, and collectibles. Her work is sold internationally, with products appearing on the shelves of major retailers including Walmart, Target, Michaels, Joann Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, Barnes & Noble, and Hot Topic.
Rose specializes in detailed, whimsical artwork, particularly in the niche world of puzzle illustration—an area she finds especially rewarding for its demand for precision and complexity. She has created over twenty-seven published puzzles to date, collaborating with companies such as Ravensburger Games, Buffalo Games, Ceaco, Cobble Hill and White Mountain Puzzles. Her puzzles, diamond kits and cross stitch patterns are sold globally, with wide distribution across the U.S., Canada, Australia, the UK, and other countries. In addition to her illustration work, Rose is a professor of art, teaching courses in 2D design, typography, and digital tools such as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. Her foundation in corporate graphic design includes years of producing web designs, logos, print materials, and catalogs for a diverse range of clients. She also has a deep love for pattern, fabric, and surface design. Her playful and imaginative patterns have been produced by companies like Geek Tropical, Pure Country Weavers, and Robert Kaufman Fabrics. As a passion project, Rose is the author of the Centernia fantasy series, which includes Return to the Castle (2014), Mark of the Castle (2018), and Whispers in the Azure (2022). These books and their accompanying merchandise are featured at conventions such as New York Comic Con. A fourth installment is currently in development. Rose is represented by Tate Licensing. |
